Land of Hope

Booking Required

Drawing on the poetry of Alda Merini, this new creation by Cie Linga brings seven performers and dedicated collaborators together in a politically charged, poetic ensemble. The piece explores collective choreography as a living, shifting organism: bodies merge, diverge and form ever-changing configurations that reveal individual singularities within a shared consciousness. Through intimate physical connections and circulating emotions, the company imagines diversity as a source of collective richness and a hopeful vision of communal joy.

Jeong revisits works from Homemade RC Toy (2019) to Under Construction (2024), sharing development anecdotes and reflections on robotics, installation and puppetry. By reworking gestures originally designed to animate objects and performing them without props, she exposes the body as material, using nudity and minimal staging to evoke ritual and altered agency.
