Written and directed by Cecilia Olivieri, Un An stages a family’s intimate life over the course of a year in 2026. In the vein of documentary theatre and theatre of the real, the piece seeks accessibility and collective resonance through pared-down staging, movement and close observation of everyday rituals. Rehearsals are intentionally brief to preserve immediacy and allow improvisation, keeping performances fresh while revealing the tenderness and tensions that shape family life.
