Actor director Martine Corthésy shapes the performers’ delicate balance between precision and bewilderment; Lam Do sculpts the world with spare lighting and technical design. Geneva’s Orchestre Tout Puissant Marcel Duchamp offers a nomadic musical odyssey that blends fervent rhythms, sonic experimentation and a spirit of freedom. For nearly twenty years the collective has shaped a distinctive sound: layered voices, interweaving textures and songs that confront the present without succumbing to despair. Carried by an impressive constellation of brass, strings, percussion, marimbas and guitars, more than fifteen musicians create generous, mobile and intensely alive music that moves between communal celebration and joyful escape.
