The Cathédrale Saint-Pierre, once a Roman Catholic cathedral, became a place of Protestant worship during the Reformation. today, it stands as an iconic symbol of the city, dominating Geneva’s skyline from the heart of the old town. From the cathedral’s north tower, one is treated to an incredible panoramic view of the city and the lake. The cathedral also houses a vast archaeological site filled with treasures dating back to antiquity.
St Peter’s Cathedral offers access to the towers to admire the panorama on full moon evenings between 9pm and 11.30pm. Watch the moon rise and gently bathe the city and the lakefront in its soft glow — a perspective unlike any other.
