Saturday 16 May, 18:30

Five students from eMa’s PréPro course present a series of thirty-minute sets that map emerging musical voices. Performers include Matilde De Quarti (vocals, acoustic guitar) with cello and piano textures, Léa Gamba (guitar, vocals and loopers), an electronic set by ELIA (piano, machines) with guests, and the bands burn the calendar and Concorde blending indie rock, electro and alternative sounds. The first edition foregrounds original songs, inventive covers and intimate sonic exploration, moving between fragile balladry and charged, rhythmic grooves.

Wednesday 20 May, 20:00

Led by conductor Dylan Corlay, the Lemanic Modern Ensemble presents Paul Lay’s new creation Un Français à New-York, a jazz-infused programme that blends original composition and orchestral arrangement. Pianist and composer Paul Lay is joined by Clemens van der Feen (double bass) and drummer Donald Kontomanov in a dialogue between chamber textures and jazz improvisation. The concert also features an ensemble version of George Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue, reimagined for modern forces.

Friday 22 May, 19:15

Organised by a teenager born with a cleft lip and palate, this third edition of a charity concert uses music to fund surgeries for children in partnership with Operation Smile Philippines. Intimate and communal, the evening blends pop, folk, classical and jazz through performances by Tess Giordano, Trio Samar, students from HEM Geneva, Asil d’été, and James Adalla with Valentina Saldarriaga. The programme moves from delicate acoustic motifs to warm ensemble passages, creating moments of tenderness, resilience and shared hope.
