Auditorium Ansermet is a 300‑seat concert hall and recording space within Geneva’s eMa (École des Musiques Actuelles) and the Centre des Musiques Actuelles. Originally conceived in 1939 by Ernest Ansermet with RTS, the renovated auditorium hosts classical and amplified performances, recordings, contemporary music projects and educational programming for emerging artists.
Led by conductor and pianist Luis Semeniuk, this choral programme gathers 60 singers from Chorale des Eaux-Vives and the Chœur La Sixtine de Sézenove for a journey through European repertoire — Puccini, Poulenc, Kodály, Lotti and Bruckner. Filmmaker Caroline Cuénod supplies poetic images that weave with the vocal textures, creating an immersive dialogue between music and film. Celebrating Chopin’s lyricism, passion and refinement, this festival presents a sequence of solo recitals, chamber concerts and a dedicated masterclass. Performers include pianists Paweł Wakarecy, Mertol Demirelli, Adam Kałduński, Krzysztof Wierciński and Mateusz Krzyżowski, alongside cellist Marcin Zdunik and the Quintette Éphémère. The programming favours intimate pacing and refined rubato, with attention to phrasing and tonal colour. Bugge Wesseltoft and Marcol Savoy lead a refined trio that melds collective improvisation, electronic textures and lyrical jazz phrasing. Joined by Nadir Graa on electric bass, the ensemble reinterprets material from New Conception of Jazz with an emphasis on spontaneous interplay and delicate sonic detail. Their set balances intimate piano and Rhodes timbres, subtle effects and propulsive, responsive drumming. A masterclass component explores approaches to group improvisation and open electronic music.

Exploring the musical lives of birds, this programme juxtaposes three distinct compositional approaches. Jonathan Harvey’s work slows and ornaments natural song, inviting attentive listening; Carola Bauckholt isolates and treats avian cries as raw material; Robin Meier Wiratunga stages a sound dialogue between pigeons in flight and instrumentalists. The evening balances close listening and playful sonic gestures, offering an intimate, often uncanny encounter with avian timbres and transformed field recordings.
Follow Momo, a child born from a peach, as he drifts into a world of rivers, forests, and mysterious castles. He meets a brave dog, clever monkey, and watchful pheasant who become his friends. Through music, singing, and playful scenes, children will feel the rush of currents, the glow of stage colors, and the pull of a daring quest. This gentle opera mixes wonder, teamwork, and imagination to spark curiosity and bravery.

An immersive marathon dedicated to the string quartet repertoire, featuring over four hours of live music across varied sets and world premieres commissioned by Contrechamps. The programme juxtaposes works by György Ligeti with contemporary projects by Marc Ribot Quartet, Adrien Trybucki, Karl Naegelen, Marc Garcia Vitoria, Katia Geha and Florence Melnotte, and includes two films screened continuously. The evening blends virtuosic precision and experimental textures, offering shifting atmospheres from intimate to intense.
