Craft and Play at Your Own Pace with Upcycled Materials! The “Joue à ton rythme!” collective invites you to a music instrument-making workshop in the MEG Garden, inspired by Max Vandervost’s creations. This group turns recycled objects into musical instruments, offering participants the opportunity to perform together, create spontaneous music, and take turns conducting. Led by Alexandra Tundo, Andreas Fulgosi, and Jean-Marc Bassoli, the workshop is open to both children and adults, free of charge, and requires no prior registration. This event is part of a series focused on addressing urgent climate issues through the unique lens of the MEG.
The Maison Rousseau et Littérature offers free monthly guided tours of the Rousseau Path. This audio-visual journey immerses visitors in the life and works of Jean-Jacques Rousseau through seven thematic niches. Rather than presenting Rousseau as a relic of the past, the path highlights his paradoxes as an invitation to question our current times, which he appears to have foreseen.

Just 25 minutes from Geneva, the legendary rock musical Jesus Christ Superstar comes to life in Nyon with a bold, modern twist, brought to the stage by Geneva Musical Theatre. Mai au Parc is a must-attend free festival in Geneva, located along the Aïre between Lancy and Geneva. This event delivers a vibrant musical lineup featuring both local and international artists, alongside children’s activities over three days. Friday and Saturday are devoted to musical evenings showcasing diverse genres such as pop rock, soul, and hip-hop. Sunday afternoon focuses on family-friendly activities and includes a Malian blues concert.
The Orchestre de la Suisse Romande will host a concert dedicated to Mozart at the Museum, promoting a charitable cause. A quintet of musicians will deliver a unique performance to raise funds for “suspended tickets,” enabling disadvantaged individuals to visit the Museum at no cost. A special brunch will be served by the HINIVUU café. The ticket includes access to both the concert and the Museum’s exhibitions.

The Barbier-Mueller Museum presents “Échos,” an exhibition where photographer Jean-Baptiste Huynh explores the museum’s works through his artistic lens. This sensitive and aesthetic approach encourages reflection on universal themes such as birth, life, aging, and death.

“La ville est à vous” is a well-loved event in Geneva, where from May to October, each weekend a different neighborhood is transformed into a car-free space featuring a street market and various festivities. Residents can organize and propose a range of fun, festive, and cultural activities, bringing life to the streets. This event, organized by the community and supported by the city, encourages connection and creative expression.
António Vasconcelos Lapa invites you into a fantastical realm where dreams blend with reality, a world brimming with lush vegetation, vibrant fruits, and peculiar creatures reminiscent of fairy tales. His works uniquely allow for touch, providing an immersive and unparalleled experience.
