Le Grand Chantier

Le Grand Chantier is a five-weekend intensive workshop that guides participants through every stage of creating a puppet show, from making puppets to staging performance. Led by Olivier Carrel with visiting specialists, the programme explores manipulation techniques, construction processes, text and dramaturgy, and stage direction. Participants engage in hands-on fabrication and rehearsals, culminating in a public presentation. Open to participants aged 12 and up.

Elena Cogato Lanza, full professor at the Laboratory of Urbanism, École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), draws on architectural and urban research to examine the urgent questions raised by energy, environmental, health and social transition. She investigates how dispersed, low-density urbanization remains dependent on cars and uses the Lake Geneva metropolitan area to show how architecture and planning can redefine the boundaries of the conceivable and sketch plausible futures.

The Forum of History is a series of academic lectures bringing together researchers from the University of Geneva and other Swiss and international institutions.
