Compagnie Le Monde au Balcon.

Camille Broquet and Marion Pouvreau inject humor and modernity into Gustave Flaubert’s “Madame Bovary,” blending a faithful adherence to the original text with a contemporary perspective. They reimagine the fate of Emma Bovary, highlighting provincial ennui and marital dramas with wit and tenderness. This lively and intelligent performance breathes new life into a frequently misunderstood classic, demonstrating its ongoing relevance. The staging combines improvisation, voiceover, and absurd humor to engage the audience from start to finish. Written and performed by Broquet and Pouvreau, with direction by Edward Decesari.

26 September – 5 October

Trois mecs au bol is a surreal, offbeat creation by Lorin Kopp, Steven Matthews, and Mirko Verdesca, who also perform on stage. Blending absurd humour, music, and a touch of the grotesque, the show questions what it means to grow up in a world where absurdity has become the new normal. Written “à plat tôt” by three clowns unaware of their own kinship, it’s a three-voiced chant to tame their demons – and perhaps yours, the one that slowly creeps in and gnaws from the inside.

A lyrical evening at Victoria Hall with mezzo-soprano Véronique Valdès, violist Lyda Chen-Argerich, and pianist Titta Carvelli, exploring the power of “Human Voices” through works by Poulenc, Bach, and Piazzolla. Presented by the association Tempus Armonicum.
