Written, directed and performed by Emeric Cheseaux, La révérence is a sensitive solo exploring leaving one’s village, inventing a new self and the weight of origins. Through a gallery of childhood-inspired characters he navigates family ties, identity and memory, blending humour and emotion. The staging is spare and intimate, with artistic collaboration from Coline Bardin, external direction by Shannon Barder, musical accompaniment by Olivier Debbasch and lighting by Céline Ribeiro. Produced by La Yo!lande compagnie in coproduction with Théâtre des Halles, Sierre.
