Ensemble BOW presents a programme of John Williams’s most iconic film scores, from Star Wars and Jurassic Park to Schindler’s List and Harry Potter. The musicians conjure cinematic textures with vivid orchestral colour, dynamic brass fanfares and intimate string passages. Arrangements highlight rhythmic drive and lyrical solos, while the ensemble’s clarity and energy recreate the emotional arcs of the original soundtracks. This evening celebrates Williams’s enduring knack for melodic storytelling and transports listeners into familiar film worlds.

Sweetease is a contemporary performance that explores intimacy, desire and the bittersweet edges of human connection. Through a subtle interplay of voice, movement and light, the piece builds textured atmospheres that shift between tenderness and unease. Staging privileges close-up moments and economical gestures, inviting the audience into an intimate emotional landscape where memory and longing surface in slow, deliberate layers.

17 September – 18 December

Created by Manon Bril and Etienne Lautrette and directed by Théo Comby Lemaitre, this hybrid lecture-performance blends scholarly rigour with theatrical wit. Historian Manon Bril guides the audience through surprising episodes of human history, overturning assumptions with a sharp, offbeat humour and playful staging. The show mixes clear popular-science explanation, theatrical images and comic timing to reveal that nothing has “always been like this”.

Sulo presents his new show, VIVRE (LIVE), an ode to life and its surprises. With humor and authenticity, he shares his vision of the importance of savoring every moment, even the unexpected ones. For the past seven years, Sulo has been touring the stand-up comedy circuit. He left Le Havre to pursue his dream in Paris and has performed countless shows, quickly establishing himself as a regular in key comedy clubs like Paname Comedy Club, Madame Sarfati, and Sacré Comedy. He has also had the privilege of opening for big names in comedy such as Roman Fraysinet, Hakim Jemili, Jason Brokerss, and Fary. Today, he returns with a personal, funny, and touching show, where you’ll laugh a lot but also reflect a little. Because, ultimately, there’s only one thing to do: LIVE!

Does having a Swiss Federal Railways (SBB/CFF) first-class travel card mean you’ve made it in life? What were the people smoking who designed the Isle of Man flag? Have you ever tried Didier’s tiramisu? What do you call those triangular dividers on supermarket checkout conveyor belts? Should we compost our boogers? Are you manly even if you can’t lift a heavy suitcase? Who actually likes fireworks? Can you name your child Ragusa? All these questions (except two) are addressed in tchoutchou.mp3, Blaise Bersinger’s new, not-so-improvised one-man show. Oscillating between stand-up, concert, and a stroke, the Lausanne-based comedian offers you a rather silly and reassuring (train?) journey for your digestive system. As Douglas-Wolfgang Bersinger, Blaise’s fictional uncle, said two years after his brain removal: “aaha è gah”
