Choreographed by Davi Pontes and Wallace Ferreira, Repertório N.1 makes dance an act of self‑defense. Drawing on voguing, ballroom culture, capoeira and queer community codes, the piece transforms the body into a territory of resistance, turning the gesture of a firearm back against the power it symbolizes. Performed without music, the work relies on breath, the impact of steps and the scrape of sneakers, moving between stillness, vogue poses and sudden, frenzied accelerations.
Sweetease is a contemporary performance that explores intimacy, desire and the bittersweet edges of human connection. Through a subtle interplay of voice, movement and light, the piece builds textured atmospheres that shift between tenderness and unease. Staging privileges close-up moments and economical gestures, inviting the audience into an intimate emotional landscape where memory and longing surface in slow, deliberate layers.
“Couleur 8” explores the idea of existing at the margins: the place from which one sees no one and is not seen. Without familiar reference points or comparisons, the piece invites spectators to impose their own rhythm and to question the strength of marginality.
