FURTHER AFIELD
Created and directed by Juliette Navis, this theatrical piece is the second in a triptych that interrogates three pop‑culture icons confronting existential crises. Through a fictional Céline Dion—at the height of fame and adulation—the work probes finitude and how one faces disappearance. The staging blends satire and intimacy, confronting taboos of money, death and sex with poetic choreography and sharp dramaturgy.

FURTHER AFIELD
Directed by Juliette Navis, J.C. centres on three crisis-struck figures and inaugurates a trilogy that interrogates taboos of money, death and sex. In the first instalment Douglas Grauwels embodies a Jean‑Claude Van Damme‑inspired persona, delivering a torrent of speech and physical gestures. The piece blends muscular choreography, occasional esoteric touches and sharp comedic moments to probe our relationship with wealth and desire. Produced in co‑production with a local cultural partner.

Directed by Juliette Navis, Pedro is the final instalment of a trilogy that stages a surreal duo of performers inspired by Pedro Almodóvar. The piece follows Juan and Pepa aboard a spaceship, exploring desire, sexuality and hypersexualisation through darkly comic science-fiction touches drawn from Ursula K. Le Guin. With bold staging and provocative mise en scène, it offers a joyfully delirious reflection on sexual taboos, reproduction and the moment of release.
