The Biopark is temporarily hosting Janus, a unique two-headed Greek tortoise, during the renovation of the Museum. Each head of this male tortoise has its own independent brain, which sometimes makes its movements challenging. Step into lively street scenes filled with color, music and movement. Join playful workshops, watch short street shows, try hands-on crafts and play imaginative games. Meet artists, touch materials, and discover how simple gestures become big performances. Children will sketch, dance, and experiment with rhythm while all senses pick up sounds, bright costumes and tasty treats. It’s a warm, friendly celebration of creativity where families explore, make and share joyful moments.

29 March – 4 October

Climb aboard a vintage tram and ride through the city in a 1920s convoy. Hear wooden wheels click, bell chimes ring, and feel the gentle sway as the streets roll past. Children can spot bright colors, old signs, and unexpected details while imagining stories from long ago. The trip mixes movement, sound, and history so kids can explore, ask questions, and share discoveries with family in a lively, sensory journey.

Sunday 5 July, 14:00

Gather for a lively reading and creative workshop inspired by Inès El Shikh’s Petit Tajine. Mélissa Catoquessa reads the tale of Souad’s first visit to her grandparents in Morocco, where a talking tajine guides her through family memories and culinary traditions. After the story children explore food, feelings and family through a custom colouring booklet and hands-on activities that encourage expression and cultural pride. Author presence possible.

7 – 28 July

Gather by the paddling pool to hear lively storytellers bring short tales to life. Listen to playful voices, rhythmic songs and splashy sounds as characters move through sunny scenes. Children will join simple refrains, act out parts, and follow bright images that spark imagination. Readings encourage curiosity, new words and pretend play, with chances to move, laugh and imagine whole stories together under the open sky.
