Choreographed by Laura Lamy and Tristan Robilliard, Partition unfolds through the spiral training technique they teach across Europe. Rooted in spinal rotation, relation to the floor and gravity, and coordinated interaction with partners, space and rhythm, the piece explores the body’s power and vulnerability. Performed by five dancers (casting ongoing), with music by Thomas Trichet and lighting by Nicolas Galland. Produced by Resodancer Company in coproduction with Théâtre François Ponsard and La Manufacture, Aurillac.

Celebrating Chopin’s lyricism, passion and refinement, this festival presents a sequence of solo recitals, chamber concerts and a dedicated masterclass. Performers include pianists Paweł Wakarecy, Mertol Demirelli, Adam Kałduński, Krzysztof Wierciński and Mateusz Krzyżowski, alongside cellist Marcin Zdunik and the Quintette Éphémère. The programming favours intimate pacing and refined rubato, with attention to phrasing and tonal colour. Expect moments of poetic introspection and virtuosic brilliance, where clear, luminous sound and careful dynamics shape a contemplative, emotionally direct experience.

8 October – 14 November

Told as a solo performance, this piece follows a woman as she remembers the films that shaped her life and blurs the line between cinema and memory. Through references to science-fiction sagas and cinematic archetypes — the woman-soldier, the survivor, the reluctant mother — the show probes identity, fear of change and the ways stories migrate from screen to skin. Sparse staging and intimate narration create a haunting, introspective atmosphere.

Created by Manon Bril and Etienne Lautrette and directed by Théo Comby Lemaitre, this hybrid lecture-performance blends scholarly rigour with theatrical wit. Historian Manon Bril guides the audience through surprising episodes of human history, overturning assumptions with a sharp, offbeat humour and playful staging. The show mixes clear popular-science explanation, theatrical images and comic timing to reveal that nothing has “always been like this”.

Je ne suis pas Johnny is a theatrical exploration of identity, memory and the weight of cultural myth. Combining intimate staging, physical sensitivity and moments of dark humour, the piece unsettles familiar narratives and invites audiences to reconsider how personas are constructed and performed. Sparse lighting and a fluid rhythm shape an intense, close-up experience, where silence and gesture reveal hidden tensions and unexpected tenderness.
