Sokkyo — The Improvised Shōnen

Created by Cosmic Impro and produced by Compagnie Tandem, Sokkyo is an improvised shōnen spectacle that channels epic battles, friendship and rapid-fire comedic drama. The ensemble of improvisers crafts high-energy scenes inspired by Dragon Ball Z, Naruto and One Piece, blending physical action with heartfelt moments. Scenographic choices and lighting shift from explosive clashes to intimate pauses, while an original approach to sound and timing heightens emotional stakes, transporting audiences into a heroic, playful and cathartic universe.

Lapin Lapin is a compassionate comedy that follows a large, eccentric family living in extreme poverty. Directed by Sarah Marcuse, the staging centers on Mama Lapin’s courage and optimism. Through rocambolesque episodes, the piece blends sharp social critique with warm humour and resilient affection. Khaled Khoury’s scenography and Loane Ruga’s lighting shape an intimate, expressive world, while an ensemble cast delivers vivid, tender performances.

A solitary man ventures through the desert in search of Prometheus, blaming the gods for igniting a consuming fire within each human. This monologue delves into the connections between ancient tragedy and contemporary turmoil, examining desire and existence through the lenses of love and creation, all in pursuit of an illuminating fire that does not consume.

An intimate musical tribute that reimagines the songs of Francis Cabrel through acoustic arrangements and thoughtful reinterpretation. The performance blends close-knit ensemble playing with sparse staging to foreground lyrical nuance and emotional resonance. Textures shift between folk intimacy and orchestral warmth, inviting reflection on memory, longing and small-town stories. The production favors subtle dynamics and poetic phrasing, intimately.

Fiona G. brings a razor-sharp solo hour of dark, observational stand-up that mixes Swiss deadpan with Parisian stage instincts. Fluent in several languages and armed with a precise sarcasm, she navigates subjects from everyday rituals to taboo topics with a playful cruelty and agile improvisation. The piece is a work-in-progress that plays with ego, irony and timing, offering unpredictable moments that pivot between biting malice and sudden tenderness.
