Swiss artist Jessica Decorvet presents a durational performance unveiling the work Néophytes, which evolves over the course of the exhibition. The live action engages a recurring motif in her practice: invasive plants, used to probe human judgments of good and bad in nature and to surface histories tied to capitalist globalization. Situated as a destabilized landscape, the project treats viewing as participation, suggesting that representation itself effects transformations in ecological and social relations.

Chu Teh-Chun Prize Exhibition

Students from La Grande Boissière present a collective exhibition of visual art responding to the life and work of Chu Teh‑Chun. Through paintings, drawings and mixed‑media pieces, the show examines perseverance, multicultural influences and the role of self‑reflection in artistic practice. Works offer personal interpretations and visual languages that articulate each student’s perspective on form, colour and memory. A jury selects outstanding pieces and the overall winner receives an artist residency.

Artist Lou Cohen presents a body of work that dialogues between still and moving images. Working with dry pastel, oil paint and short films, she stages interactions within the same installation, confronting static representation with motion. The works explore perception, narrative tension and the theatrical potential of materials, inviting careful viewing and reconsideration of what images can reveal.

Botanic Circus

Alice Izzo presents Botanic Circus, an immersive installation that transforms natural elements into a poetic visual performance. Through site-specific sculptural forms, coloured assemblies of flowers, plants and fruit become staged protagonists, inviting slow wandering, close observation and tactile interaction. The work blends installation, painted surfaces and ephemeral botanical assemblage to probe nature’s textures, theatricality and human perception. A parallel programme of monthly acrylic painting workshops complements the installation.

Collectif_fact Afterimage

collectif_fact is composed of Annelore Schneider (born 1979 in Neuchâtel, Switzerland) and Claude Piguet (born 1977 in Neuchâtel, Switzerland). Living and working between London and Geneva, they create mainly video-based works that deconstruct cinematic codes and popular culture stereotypes. Their practice explores notions of (anti-)spectacle, simulacra, and appropriation through fragmented narratives combining dialogue, quotations, music, and references to classic cinema.
