Jardin des Nations is a temporary public cultural garden and event space near the Palais des Nations. It combines community gardening, markets, concerts, workshops and an immersive exhibition space to promote sustainable urban planning and local producers. The site fosters community participation, cultural programming, and dialogue about the future development of Geneva.
Alice Izzo presents Botanic Circus, an immersive installation that transforms natural elements into a poetic visual performance. Through site-specific sculptural forms, coloured assemblies of flowers, plants and fruit become staged protagonists, inviting slow wandering, close observation and tactile interaction. The work blends installation, painted surfaces and ephemeral botanical assemblage to probe nature’s textures, theatricality and human perception. A parallel programme of monthly acrylic painting workshops complements the installation.
Projet Wipeout presents an outdoor set that blends composed motifs and free improvisation, unfolding as a textured conversation between voices and instruments. The performance favours careful dynamics, sudden shifts and hospitable sonic spaces where tasting and communal listening intertwine. Lighting and sound are used to carve intimate moments and open-air expanses, creating a warm, convivial atmosphere that invites attentive immersion and spontaneous exchange.
