Jardin des Nations is a temporary public cultural garden and event space near the Palais des Nations. It combines community gardening, markets, concerts, workshops and an immersive exhibition space to promote sustainable urban planning and local producers. The site fosters community participation, cultural programming, and dialogue about the future development of Geneva.
An intimate acoustic set by a guitar-and-voice duo that revisits Uruguayan and Brazilian song traditions. The programme blends gentle rhythmic motifs, warm nylon-string textures and close-harmony vocals, moving between breezy candombe-tinged grooves and reflective ballads. The staging favors simplicity: sparse sonorities, intimate lighting and close listening that foregrounds nuance and phrasing. The performance invites quiet conviviality and transportive nostalgia, offering a delicate, sensual listening experience that highlights the melodic and rhythmic richness of South American popular traditions.
Alice Izzo presents Botanic Circus, an immersive installation that transforms natural elements into a poetic visual performance. Through site-specific sculptural forms, coloured assemblies of flowers, plants and fruit become staged protagonists, inviting slow wandering, close observation and tactile interaction. The work blends installation, painted surfaces and ephemeral botanical assemblage to probe nature’s textures, theatricality and human perception. A parallel programme of monthly acrylic painting workshops complements the installation.
