In Pensées sous les nuages, Haute-Savoie and Geneva-based artist Jérémy Bajulaz brings landscapes and still lifes into quiet dialogue, exploring light, memory and the subtle beauty of the visible world. Inspired by the poetry of Philippe Jaccottet, the exhibition invites us to slow down and look more closely at the simple forms and fleeting moments that surround us. Unfamiliar, Luminous, Remote marks Amit Berman’s first solo exhibition at the gallery, following an artist residency in Switzerland earlier this year. Bringing together a new body of paintings, the exhibition explores intimacy, memory and vulnerability through expressive gestures, visible layers of paint and atmospheric compositions. Moving between quiet domestic interiors, fragments of landscape and solitary figures, Berman’s works reflect on the fragile space between familiarity and estrangement, connection and withdrawal.

Created against a backdrop of war and emotional precarity, these intimate yet unsettled paintings reveal a persistent search for connection and belonging within an unstable reality.

Opening: Thursday 17 September, 18:00

Talk: Sunday 20 September, 14:30-15:30 with curator Danniel Tostes and Amit Berman.

17 September – 7 November

Lilian Bourgeat creates hyperrealistic sculptures that magnify everyday objects into monumental forms. Meticulous attention to surface, material and colour transforms benches, rain boots and soda cans into seductive yet unsettling sculptures. By altering scale while preserving recognizable details, his pieces oscillate between functionality and absurdity, displacing the viewer and inviting fresh perceptions of ordinary gestures and urban routines. The work interrogates how familiar objects shape memory, use and the boundaries between the banal and the monumental.

Opening: Thursday 17 September, 18:00

16 September – 31 October

Le Nouveau Réalisme brings together works by Arman, César, Christo, François Dufrêne, Yves Klein, Niki de Saint Phalle, Mimmo Rotella, Daniel Spoerri, Jean Tinguely and Jacques Villeglé to examine the movement’s poetic reworking of urban detritus. The exhibition presents sculptures, assemblages, collages and interventions that displace found objects from everyday contexts, juxtaposing industrial materials, advertising fragments and ready‑mades. Through material play and détournement, the show explores urban consumption, collective memory and the politics of visibility.

Science with a lake view. Hidden inside the elegant Villa Bartholoni, this small museum is packed with historic instruments linked to astronomy, electricity, microscopy, and meteorology. A charming detour through Geneva’s surprisingly rich scientific past — with Parc Mon-Repos right outside.

30 September – 11 October

Ségolène Romier revisits her practice as a filmmaker while opening a new chapter that foregrounds drawing and material experimentation. Her films, presented across a cluster of televisions, form a living retrospective populated by characters, objects and bodies. Drawing, long confined to sculptural preparation, moves to the fore on cardboard, producing fragmented forms and a kaleidoscopic self‑portrait in which the body appears in pieces between representation and disappearance. The exhibition contemplates passage, creative continuity and the shifting modalities of image and object.

Opening: Wednesday 30 September, 18:00
Closing: Sunday 11 October, 17:00
