Carlo D’Anselmi presents paintings that emerge from imagination, assembling figures, animals and landscapes into dreamlike compositions defined by colour, textured surfaces and a quietly emotive atmosphere. Developed during the artist’s first stay in Switzerland overlooking the French Alps, the works respond to shifting rhythms and seasonal transformations in the landscape.
