Originally established in Neuchatel, lange+pult has evolved into an established Swiss contemporary art gallery with spaces in Auvernier, Zürich and, since 2023, Geneva. Located in the Quartier des Bains, the gallery is commited to fostering intersectons between diverse regions, generations, and innovative artistic practices. Its fervent attraction is directed towards abstract minimalism, neo-pop, and conceptual art.
Lilian Bourgeat creates hyperrealistic sculptures that magnify everyday objects into monumental forms. Meticulous attention to surface, material and colour transforms benches, rain boots and soda cans into seductive yet unsettling sculptures. By altering scale while preserving recognizable details, his pieces oscillate between functionality and absurdity, displacing the viewer and inviting fresh perceptions of ordinary gestures and urban routines. The work interrogates how familiar objects shape memory, use and the boundaries between the banal and the monumental.
