Nefeli Papadimouli – Dream Coat (IV)

Choreographed by Nefeli Papadimouli, Dream Coat (IV) is performed by students of the Ballet Junior de Genève around ten large textile sculptures that function as costumes and modular set pieces. The work draws on early 20th-century utopian avant‑gardes and the visual language of Etel Adnan, weaving references to Greek myth—Orpheus and Hypnos—into a study of dreams as collective and individual memory. Developed from “dreamstorming” sessions, the piece activates circular, Matisse-like gestures and dervish-inspired turns, exploring ephemeral communities through movement and tactile fabric sculptures.
