Guitare en Scène Festival gathers five evenings of intimate guitar-led concerts, showcasing an international roster across covered stages. Directed by Valeria Bertolotto, Faire Hamlet! stages a company wrestling with performance and truth as rehearsals of Shakespeare’s prince unravel private tensions. Pierre Banderet, Dylan Poletti and an intergenerational ensemble confront doubt, jealousy and shifting identities while Angèle Colas provides artistic collaboration. Sound by Fred Jarabo, scenography by Fanny Courvoisier, lights by Alessandra Domingues and costumes by Eléonore Cassaigneau shape an intimate, unstable world where fiction bleeds into life.

Caustic Comedy Night gathers four stand-up comedians from Switzerland, France and Belgium in a tight, high-energy evening of observational and satirical humour. The show alternates rising talents and seasoned performers, combining sharp social commentary, playful anecdotes and improvised exchanges. Minimal staging keeps the focus on timing and delivery, creating an intimate atmosphere where rhythm and punchlines drive the experience. The programme favours quick, varied sets that sustain momentum and surprise.

FURTHER AFIELD

A summer series of open-air concerts in local parks offering festive, family-friendly world-music programmes on some nights and intimate jazz sessions on others. The programme pairs vibrant ensembles and solo artists to explore cross-cultural rhythms, melodic improvisation and textured arrangements. Curated to alternate lively communal sets with quieter, introspective performances, the series invites attentive listening in green urban settings and celebrates shared musical encounters across diverse traditions.

Returning for its twentieth edition, Les Aubes brings softness and poetry to Geneva mornings. At dawn, intimate musical encounters offer delicate soundscapes that stir the senses, favouring close listening and subtle atmospheres. The programme highlights a variety of acoustic and experimental projects, from solo performances to chamber ensembles, each designed to awaken the city with refined timbres and attentive pacing. A gentle celebration of morning listening and communal presence.
