Marguerite Roesgen-Champion

This presentation honours Marguerite Roesgen-Champion, the Geneva-born composer, pianist and harpsichordist, through an exhibition and related programme. Archival manuscripts, scores and recordings illuminate her compositional voice, keyboard repertoire and chamber works. The displays emphasise contrapuntal clarity, timbral detail and performance practice, situating her within the circle of contemporary harpsichordists. Curatorial texts and integrated media explore her contribution to Swiss musical life and interpretive traditions.

17 September – 13 December

Curators Ghalas Charara and Rita Elhajj present the second part of a two‑part exhibition that shapes a liminal space between listening and gesture. Through acts of defunctionalization, duplication, displacement, fragmentation and sabotage, the participating artists generate potentials for action and reclaim rhythmic breaths, steps and voices. Works from the host collection sit alongside invited pieces to evoke survivance, mourning and resistance, where memory becomes an embrace enacted by bodies searching for—sometimes finding—ancestral gestures through repetition, dance and semantic shifts.

Abdul Rahman Katanani presents a contemplative exhibition curated by Barbara Polla that gathers artistic, philosophical and literary propositions to rethink the world and imagine solutions. The centrepiece is the drawings series «The Story Portals», created for this presentation. Through narratively charged drawings, Katanani probes memory, migration and collective imaginaries, inviting reflection on how visual storytelling can articulate ethical and social alternatives. The work balances poetic gesture and rigorous conceptual inquiry.

An exhibition presenting work by Garry Fabian Miller, Ptolemy Mann and Marit Tingleff, curated by Sarah Griffin. Across photography, weaving and ceramics, the show explores the darkroom, the dye lab and the kiln as sites of material transformation. The artists draw on deep embodied knowledge and long practice, using process, environment and material behaviour to shape outcomes. The works probe attention to texture, colour and time, revealing subtle relations between technique and the natural conditions that inform each practice.
