The Biopark is temporarily hosting Janus, a unique two-headed Greek tortoise, during the renovation of the Museum. Each head of this male tortoise has its own independent brain, which sometimes makes its movements challenging. In captivity, Janus receives attentive care, resulting in an impressive lifespan of 26 years.
From December 5 to 6, 2025, just before the holiday season, the Conservatoire Populaire of Music, Dance and Theatre invites you to the Bâtiment des Forces Motrices (BFM) in Geneva for its grand biennial dance show. Across three exceptional performances, audiences will experience a rich choreographic journey blending poetry, energy, and artistic diversity—from classical and contemporary to modern jazz. On both evenings, a free prelude in the BFM foyer will be presented by visually impaired students from the unique “Danse des sens” program, emphasizing the Conservatoire’s commitment to inclusive artistic expression.
