Led by the vocal partnership of soprano Valérie Vianin Bonzon and tenor Jesse Concha, with pianist Sebastián Guinta, this recital juxtaposes intimate Romantic lieder and verismo arias by Schumann and Puccini. The singers inhabit contrasting personas, weaving fragile lyricism with dramatic intensity, while the piano provides shimmering textures and bold climaxes. Illuminated by attentive phrasing and close musical dialogue, the programme invites a contemplative, emotionally charged listening experience that moves between tenderness and passion.

For his final production as a theatre director, Jean Liermier revisits Tennessee Williams’s autobiographical classic about memory, longing and family. Set in the 1930s American South, the staging gathers a company around Laura, here embodied by Aurélia Thierrée, with Cyprien Colombo, David Gobet and Clotilde Mollet completing the ensemble. Liermier’s direction emphasises fragile interiors and poetic movement, offering a liberating, weightless atmosphere that balances tenderness and uneasy nostalgia.
