Two short plays by Anton Chekhov staged by Tibor Ockenfels and Flavie Tapparel, presented as compact dramatic machines where romantic comedy masks escalating confrontations between desire, affection and material interest. Performances rely on precise physical timing, terse exchanges and a lean, playful design to reveal the simmering violence behind courtship rituals. The three actors — Estelle Bridet, Matteo Prandi and Raphaël Vachoux — inhabit heightened character types that shift between farce and darker comic truth, creating a sharply observed, kinetic evening.

Festival du Soir marks a ten-year anniversary with a sprawling program across multiple themed nights, from electronic showcases to Latin‑infused celebrations and disco revival spectacles. Directed by Fanny Brunet and Carole Schafroth, this theatrical adaptation of Daniel de Roulet’s novel follows ten young women who emigrate to Patagonia to found an egalitarian anarchist community. Using object theatre, the production blends storytelling, projected images and reflective passages to probe anarchist utopias, working-class conditions, migration and the marginalised role of women in history. The staging is intimate and inventive, inviting thought and emotion through tactile imagery and poetic gesture.

For his final production as a theatre director, Jean Liermier revisits Tennessee Williams’s autobiographical classic about memory, longing and family. Set in the 1930s American South, the staging gathers a company around Laura, here embodied by Aurélia Thierrée, with Cyprien Colombo, David Gobet and Clotilde Mollet completing the ensemble. Liermier’s direction emphasises fragile interiors and poetic movement, offering a liberating, weightless atmosphere that balances tenderness and uneasy nostalgia.

Rien is a poetic, clownish exploration of the human condition performed through table puppets and object theatre. Performed and manipulated by Aurélie Gourvès and Délia Sartor, the piece stages themes of possession, authority, false beliefs, rivalry, fear of the void and boredom with a minimal scenography by Henry Castres. Assistants Cristina Iosif and François Accard support the staging, while Émile Parisien provides the music. A tender, comic and slightly melancholic show for audiences from six years.
