Aurélien Dougé — Untitled (Steel Bar)

Choreographer Aurélien Dougé investigates the relation between body and material in Sans titre (Barre d’acier). Performed solo on a square platform, the artist rotates continuously while holding a four‑metre steel bar that acts as both constraint and bodily extension. The piece foregrounds shifted weight, altered lines of tension and extremely slow gestural transformations against a persistent rotational rhythm. Rudy Decelière’s sound design suspends time, and a video triptych created with WIPART extends the work’s sculptural presence across contexts.

Choreographer and performer Geumhyung Jeong presents a double programme that probes the uneasy alliance between the human body and surrounding objects. Combining contemporary dance, performance, puppetry and visual art with a long-running interest in robotic sculptures, she revisits works in a conference-performance, Toy Under Development, before performing Find Select Copy and Paste. Stripping movement of its props — even appearing naked as a deliberate “costume” — Jeong reconfigures gestures to blur animate and inanimate, creating an intimate, uncanny ritual.
