Apéropéra #8 — About 200 Motels

Led by Cyril Moulas and Matthieu Llodra, this Apéropéra gathers students from the Pre‑Professional Programme and teachers from eMa to rework the music of Frank Zappa. The programme moves between inventive covers and original compositions, blending rock, jazz and theatrical unpredictability. A concise student set opens onto a fuller teachers’ project where tight ensemble playing, bold arrangements and moments of improvisation create a lively, exploratory atmosphere — intimate, electric and delightfully subversive.
