Situated in a recently constructed space above the new Gare des Eaux-Vives, La Comédie de Genève is a distinguished theatrical institution housing two theaters equipped with high-quality technical facilities. It hosts a wide range of performances, from classical to contemporary works, and is not limited to theater alone, often featuring dance, conferences, workshops, and collaborations with festivals.
Created and directed by Marion Siéfert, Bunker imagines a dystopian near future where accelerated communications and climate collapse reshape human relations. In a France warmed by five degrees, a CEO of a large oil company lives recoiled in a luxury bunker with his daughter, whose growing silence becomes a powerful centrepiece. The piece probes the failure of language, contemporary fears and contradictions through sparse staging, intensified silence and intimate father–daughter rituals.

New choreographic creation by (LA)HORDE for the Ballet national de Marseille, Après Moi, le Déluge plunges into a critical moment of upheaval, oscillating between apprehension and the hope of a possible future. Twelve performers move within a monumental, evolving scenography while Pierre Aviat’s original score and the external perspective of Alain Damasio shape a tense, poetic atmosphere. The piece explores collective fragility, resilience and the choreography of transition.
Created by Marc Oosterhoff in collaboration with performer Owen Winship, The Smallest Things is a delicate stage creation that works within the constraints of theatrical space to reveal the unexpected. On an almost bare stage, two performers construct the material of a show before our eyes: wonders of small feats and illusions performed openly. The piece explores the fragile poetry of making, creating and tinkering, blending theatrical invention with intimate presence and quiet astonishment.

Directed by Valentine Losseau, On m’a trouvée grandie follows the poignant fate of women once labelled hysterical, centring on Madeleine’s claimed episodes of levitation and a doctor’s hypnotic interventions. The staging blends choreographic writing, sculptural setmaking and the visual illusions of modern magic to create a sensory, dreamlike dramaturgy. Performers Leïla Ka or Delphine Lanson (alternating), David Murgia, Laurent Natrella and Florence Peyrard inhabit a world where grace and resistance collide in shifting, uncanny tableaux.

Composed for eight popping specialists, Promenade Obligatoire stages eight dancers moving continuously across the stage, always in the same direction. From compact mass to solitude, the choreography traces shifting formations that echo a social body in flux. Through precise popping technique and austere ensemble movement, the piece explores individuals’ resistance to determinism, the relentless flow of everyday life and collective modes of being. The atmosphere alternates between near-military procession and fragile individuality.
Created by the collective Damechevaliers in collaboration with Gisèle Vienne and featuring Caro Geryl and Adèle Haenel, this evening blends reading, music and performance around Monique Wittig’s thinking. The piece draws on “La pensée straight” and gathers texts by Monique Wittig, Sarah Ahmed, Audre Lorde, Adrienne Rich and Elsa Dorlin to examine gendered hierarchies and the political logics that assign social roles. The staging is intimate and interrogative, mixing voice, sound and performative gestures.
