This international workshop examines settler colonialism as a long-term, predatory and extractivist power relation that dispossesses populations of land and material, human and symbolic resources. In dialogue with Indigenous, Black, decolonial and postcolonial theories, participants will investigate how this system operates across different contexts and intersects with other forms of power. Taking the Palestinian case as a point of departure, the multidisciplinary discussion seeks to deepen understanding of settler colonialism’s global dimensions and the situated knowledge that can illuminate them.
