Rossella Baldi, an independent historian, and Estelle Fallet, chief curator for watchmaking, enamelling, jewellery and miniatures, present archival sketches and technical memoranda that illuminate Geneva’s watchmaking excellence. The presentations examine how design, technical knowledge and artistic creation intersected during the Enlightenment, placing mechanical artefacts in dialogue with draughtsmanship and craft memory. Themes include heritage, innovation and the transmission of skills across generations.
