Special Revelations Evening: Vagalumes, Baiju Bhatt & Red Sun

Vagalumes opens the evening with an intimate South American‑infused jazz set, led by Sylvie Klijn (voice), Paul Gonzalez (guitar, maracas) and Samuel Boutros (percussion). Their repertoire blends original pieces, Spanish and Portuguese songs and a poetic Latin‑jazz atmosphere evoking Fernando Pessoa and Pablo Neruda. The second set features Baiju Bhatt & Red Sun — Baiju Bhatt (violin), Valentin Conus (tenor sax), Mark Priore (piano), Blaise Hommage (double bass) and Paul Berne (drums, percussion) — exploring a daring fusion of jazz‑rock, Indian traditions and contemporary textures.
