Impro Comedy Club is a small theatre dedicated to amateur improvisation, presenting weekend shows, workshops and courses. The intimate venue combines a roughly fifty-seat auditorium with a convivial bar, hosting local improv troupes, training sessions and community events that support Geneva’s improvisational theatre scene.
Created and performed by Cie La Bankize, this long-form improv piece builds three extended stories driven by audience suggestion and the recurring role of “you there in the back”, a volunteer pulled into the action. Performers Malik Kaufmann, Pierre Bitchatchi, Sara Rusalen, Thomas Demaurex and Yann Roux navigate sudden turns, comic risk and tender moments, shaping scenes in the moment. The work favours spontaneity, collective play and emotional shifts, inviting laughter, surprise and a sense of shared improvisatory intimacy.
