Part performance, part competitive ritual, this piece stages one-on-one challenges between members of different teams from the ligue Majeure. Mobula is an ode to the movement of water, a dance piece that reflects humanity’s relationship with the ocean. Directed by Jean‑Camille Goimard and performed by Pierre Theoleyre, Denis Terrasse and Anna Martin‑François, the choreography channels aquatic energy: floating beneath the surface, being tossed by waves, confronting the storm. Images are projected across a sail-like structure while Anne Martin appears as a dancer in the film, and narratives from people who live with the sea punctuate the work.

3 – 22 November

Directed by Marie-José Malis, Retour au pays revisits Hugo von Hofmannsthal’s letters through a spare, lucid staging. Performers Alexandra Tiedemann and Juan Crespillo inhabit the returning merchant’s disorientation, while Aurélia Ansermet provides live music and sound. Bernard Héritier’s scenography and Jessy Ducatillon’s lighting shape moments of visual surprise, most poignantly a Van Gogh encounter that restores belief in the world. The piece refuses facile answers, offering theatrical lucidity and an austere emotional clarity.

30 October – 7 November

Directed by Jean Bellorini in collaboration with Yang Hua Theatre, this staging reimagines Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s Le Petit Prince with the title character portrayed by a Chinese actor. The production blends French and Mandarin dialogue with live music by singers from China’s independent scene. Actors François Deblock and Marc Plas perform alongside a cast that shifts between a childlike prince, an ancient reciter of poems and fantastical cosmic inhabitants. The staging mixes song, poetry and intimate theatricality, exploring friendship and human connection.

MIKI writes, films and sings with a sharp, candid voice, crafting a hybrid pop that balances nervous energy and intimate detail. Her performance mixes absurd vignettes and tender moments, delivered with an ironic distance that keeps listeners off‑balance. She stages songs like short films, letting onstage gestures and lo-fi visuals punctuate the music. Revealed at Voix de Fête 2025, MIKI’s show feels immediate and unvarnished, alternating between playful chaos and fragile honesty.

Set between domestication and escape, La zone nono follows a troupe of ragged yet endearing animals seeking community and freedom. Two table puppeteers and two musicians bring to life quirky creatures through live music and songs, blending humour and poetry.
