Collective exhibition: What Connects Us

What Connects Us brings together Susanna Bauer, Michele Landel and Hannah Schmider in a collective exhibition that examines encounters between nature, memory and craft. Delicate crochet, embroidered photographs on reclaimed bed linens and figurative wooden sculptures form a quiet vocabulary that probes human–animal relationships and domestic ecologies. The works emphasise material histories and gesture, inviting careful looking and conversations about care, fragility and the traces left by interspecies bonds.

Opening: 10 October, 11:00 – 15:00

Conceived by artist Pauline Coquart, Short Ass Attention Span #3 mixes literary experiment and live performance, assembling texts that range from apocalyptic sketches to risqué autofiction and political essays on sexuality. Editors and collaborators Ethan Assouline and Gaia Vincensini shaped the selection and the edition’s visual identity, while attentive editorial direction and inventive layout treat writing as performative material. The project foregrounds plural contemporary voices, shifting between intimate confession, sharp aphorism and sprawling narrative to create a charged, porous atmosphere.

Echo Chamber is an immersive, interactive and participatory exhibition that probes self-image and perception. Housed in a contained space, it stages a sequence of installations and collaborative artworks that invite visitors to engage, modify and reflect on representations of identity. The show extends into a virtual environment, using audiovisual and sensor-driven elements to examine how images circulate, transform and are interpreted—raising questions about gaze, agency and consent in contemporary visual culture.

Mirella Jaworska’s first solo exhibition presents paintings from 2026 that conjure the uncertain light of waking, when dream and reality blur. Drawing on early Renaissance masters and Japanese painting, Jaworska composes intimate tableaux populated by faces, flowers, skulls, cigarettes and studio objects, alongside recurring figures such as a jockey, a sphinx and a chair pierced by a heart. Her layered brushwork and muted palette explore memory, loss and melancholic reverie.

On the occasion of her first institutional solo exhibition in Geneva, Marisa Cornejo presents El Taller de la Fragilidad, bringing together new sculptures, drawings, and installations. Born in Chile and based in Switzerland, the artist draws on her experience of exile to explore the relationships between memory, displacement, absence, and repair. Several of the works have been created especially for Halle Nord, examining the forms of resilience that emerge from uprootedness. Recipient of the Fondation Francine Delacrétaz Prize (2023) and a Swiss Art Award (2024), Marisa Cornejo’s practice spans sculpture, drawing, installation, performance, and archival research.
