Young artists stage intimate, exploratory performances shaped by individual approaches, while external experts offer attentive feedback that feeds the creative process. The program emphasizes experimentation, ensemble interplay and refined sonic textures, inviting listeners into fragile, evolving soundscapes and the formative moments of artists at the threshold of professional life.
Ara Malikian leads his ensemble in Intruso, a virtuosic programme where Bach and Mozart converse with jazz, flamenco, klezmer and Cuban rhythms. Malikian’s fiery violin anchors improvisatory exchanges alongside Iván “Melón” Lewis (piano), Dayan Abad (guitar), Iván Ruiz Machado (bass, double bass) and Pico Millán (drums). The arrangements blur classical precision and street-born spontaneity, shifting between intimate, lyrical passages and raucous, dance-infused eruptions to create a cinematic, emotionally charged sonic journey.
Two short plays by Anton Chekhov staged by Tibor Ockenfels and Flavie Tapparel, presented as compact dramatic machines where romantic comedy masks escalating confrontations between desire, affection and material interest. Performances rely on precise physical timing, terse exchanges and a lean, playful design to reveal the simmering violence behind courtship rituals. The three actors — Estelle Bridet, Matteo Prandi and Raphaël Vachoux — inhabit heightened character types that shift between farce and darker comic truth, creating a sharply observed, kinetic evening.

Children will hunt for treats, solve mystery games, join guided night walks, take part in hands-on workshops, taste seasonal treats, and enjoy themed evenings. Activities combine storytelling, crafts, movement and sensory surprises to spark imagination and cooperative play. The programme encourages creativity, curiosity and shared discovery across a variety of family-friendly formats.
Curated by cellist Ophélie Gaillard with coordination by Pauline Boulanger, Prayers gathers HEM teachers and students alongside pre-college pupils in a reflective chamber-music programme. As an homage to Pablo Casals, the programme juxtaposes lyrical cello lines with contemporary textures by Glass, Reich, Mellits and others, creating shifting atmospheres from intimate stillness to propulsive momentum. Collaboration with CMG, CPMDT and Studio Kodály foregrounds pedagogical exchange and a shared sense of ritual and resonance.
