French singer-songwriter Florent Marchet grew up in a theatre in Berry, becoming a pianist and exploring classical, jazz and folk before forging a distinctive path in chanson and pop. Since Gargilesse he has established himself as one of France’s most inventive songwriters, creating memorable projects such as Rio Baril and Frère Animal. Mobil Home pursues a nomadic, luminous yet uneasy sound. On stage he adopts a storyteller’s stance, supported by a close, attentive ensemble.
