Choreographed by Tidiani N’Diaye, this urban parade is a collective moving performance that links choreography and civic engagement. Performers and participants wear costumes fashioned from colourful single-use plastic bags, a striking symbol of consumption’s excess and global imbalance. The work traces themes of North–South interconnection, climate and social justice, weaving ritual, rhythmic procession and communal singing into a vibrant public tableau. Created in collaboration with the Fédération genevoise de coopération for its 60th anniversary and Shap Shap, the parade is celebratory and questioning.
