Le retour, conceived and performed by Marion Duval and staged by the Chris Cadillac company, blends theatre, clowning and performance. Marion Duval leads a large ensemble including AzuXenia, Adina Secretan and Aram Xwindar, supported by a collaborative creative team. The piece confronts antagonism between species and the collapse of capitalist systems through participatory, physical and often humorous scenes. Sparse, visceral staging and communal moments invite reflection on coexistence and collective responsibility.

The work explores filiation, grief and gratitude with rigorous stagecraft and quiet intensity.

The performance features a defiant dance symbolizing the struggle against terror, absurdity, and the monotony of the world, creating a captivating and apocalyptic atmosphere.

The four instruments engage in crisp, conversational interplay, where nimble phrasing and sculpted dynamics reveal wit and tenderness. The programme emphasizes formal balance and close listening, drawing out subtle rhythmic sparks and lyrical lines. The performance invites concentrated attention, unfolding moments of airy humour, poised restraint and lingering melodic grace.

Ensemble Rodopi presents music and dances from Thrace, a borderland where Bulgarian, Greek and Turkish traditions meet. The ensemble—Drosos Koutsokostas (laouto, vocals), Kyriakos Petras (violin), Nikos Angousis (clarinet), Alkis Zopoglou (kanun) and Yorgos Pagozidis (percussion)—explores asymmetric rhythms, layered timbres and choreographic repertoires. With participation from C.H.E.F. dancers, the programme shifts from concert to communal dance, evoking village celebrations and the tactile exchange between musicians and dancers.
