Directed by Leonardo García Alarcón, Baroque Lab presents the culmination of a semester’s intensive work by students from the maestro al cembalo and baroque ensemble conducting classes. They explore stylistic sources and the art of musical gesture to shape a vivid, collective interpretation. Singers from the vocal department and instrumentalists from the early music department perform repertoire by Lully, Charpentier and Bach, under the guidance of student conductors Pablo Agudo López, Kyrian Friedenberg and Patricio Amezcua Zilli.
