Scène Vagabonde’s seventh edition brings a compact program of contemporary theatre and music, presenting three contrasting stage works — “Par le bout du nez”, “Quadrille” and “Prima facie” — alongside a concert by Orchestre Tout Puissant Marcel Duchamp as part of La Bâtie-Festival de Genève. Two musical worlds, one raw intensity. Grungehog revives the visceral spirit of 1990s Seattle, drawing on the legacy of Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden and Alice in Chains to deliver honest, unadorned rock driven by gritty riffs and emotional vocals. Supporting trio Gédéon offers groovy folk-rock with seventies echoes, singing in French and Spanish; acoustic guitar, banjo, dobro and percussion weave an intimate, hypnotic sound. The evening balances electric intensity with organic tenderness.

Written by Stéphane Bouquet, Six heures plus tard is an intimate stage performance for two performers that explores the fragile bonds between a man and a woman through poetic text, live-filmed images, spare lighting and pared-down stage presence. The piece treats silence as a shared, collective resource and recomposes itself according to each venue’s architecture and the state of the bodies, creating an unusual proximity and contemplative atmosphere.
