Voix de Fête brings a week of concerts and community music events in Geneva, presenting diverse genres and shared performances. Directed by Elidan Arzoni, this fiery, hilarious staging of Yasmina Reza’s play follows two couples whose polite attempt to resolve a quarrel between their sons collapses into a savage verbal carnage. Performers Sophie Broustal, Vincent Jacquet, Camille Édith Bouzaglo and Frédéric Landenberg unleash sharp, tightly wound exchanges, while Benoît Delaunay’s scenography and Hervé Broillet’s costumes frame escalating social fractures. Danielle Milovic’s lighting and meticulous stagecraft intensify a darkly comic exploration of civility, hypocrisy and unleashed instincts.

Choreographed and created by Vanessa Riera, this défilé-performance brings together a mixed community of young people in migration, artistic trainees and youth experiencing social rupture, who prepared the work through workshops and perform as the runway cast. The creative team includes a musician, a scenographer, an assistant, a technician and a make-up artist. Reclaimed garments sourced from textile bins and a social wardrobe are reshaped into sculptural, elegant costumes. The piece blends fashion and choreography to explore belonging, identity and material transformation.
Led by the Big Band des Eaux-Vives, this concert reimagines classic hard-bop repertoire with original arrangements of works by Art Blakey, Horace Silver, Lee Morgan, Freddie Hubbard and Oliver Nelson. The ensemble blends robust brass, propulsive rhythms and moments of lyrical reflection, creating a lively tribute to the spirit of the Messengers. Special guest Daniel Leveillé extends the music into movement with virtuosic tap, while attentive staging and lighting sculpt a warm, dynamic sound-world.
Two short plays by Anton Chekhov staged by Tibor Ockenfels and Flavie Tapparel, presented as compact dramatic machines where romantic comedy masks escalating confrontations between desire, affection and material interest. Performances rely on precise physical timing, terse exchanges and a lean, playful design to reveal the simmering violence behind courtship rituals. The three actors — Estelle Bridet, Matteo Prandi and Raphaël Vachoux — inhabit heightened character types that shift between farce and darker comic truth, creating a sharply observed, kinetic evening.
