Sofia — Tribute to Sofia Gubaidulina

Booking Required

Conceived as an homage to composer Sofia Gubaïdulina (1931–2025), Sofia gathers chamber formations to inhabit intimate domestic rooms and perform a curated selection from her expansive chamber-music repertoire. Pieces are chosen to multiply listening instants and to revive the private character of chamber music. Prepared in collaboration with professors from the Haute École de Musique and performed by their students, the project pairs careful scenography and subtle sound devices to awaken curiosity and encourage close, attentive listening.

The project is organised by Ensemble Vide, an interdisciplinary platform for contemporary music and artistic research.

Futur(s) is a collective performance inspired by Yannis La Macchia’s graphic novel Naturellement. A theatre becomes a cyberpunk fiction where a digital virus seeps into the real: audiences wear mixed‑reality headsets and move through backstage, rehearsal rooms, the foyer and the stage, skirting the boundary between virtual and physical. Encounters with 3D characters, a sea that floods the auditorium and a dancer who animates avatars craft an immersive hybrid of live performance and digital creation set in 2056.

Directed by Claude Vuillemin, Yasmina Reza’s Trois versions de la vie assembles four performers, Laurent Deshusses, Marie Druc, Sophie Lukasik and Nicolas Rossier, in a taut, virtuosic staging. Lighting by Rinaldo Del Boca and costumes by Sylvie Lépine shape shifting domestic realities as the play probes how social veneer fractures intimate relationships.
