Curated by saxophone professor Joshua Hyde, this chamber programme gathers teachers and nine students from the saxophone class to reimagine piano and other-instrument works. Through the homogeneous sonic color of a saxophone ensemble, familiar pieces are transformed into dense, luminous arrangements that explore timbre, breath and collective phrasing. Lighting and spatial placement shape intimate listening moments while an original approach to balance and articulation reveals new emotional contours, offering a compact yet resonant midday musical experience.
In early January 2022, two construction vehicles belonging to a Swiss multinational were set on fire at a gravel pit in the Geneva countryside. Over a year later, a young man — referred to as Jérémy — was arrested and suspected of involvement in the arson. Held in pre-trial detention, he was released after more than three months, following strong public support and mobilization.
