Switzerland and the EU: A Relationship Tested by Geopolitical Upheavals

Registration required

The seminar on relations between Switzerland and the European Union returns this November for its 11th edition. Recent decisions taken by the U.S. administration — from tariffs to strategic withdrawal — have triggered geopolitical and geostrategic upheavals on a global scale. In this context of growing unpredictability, Switzerland and the EU aim to strengthen and expand their cooperation through a new set of bilateral agreements that have just been submitted for consultation.

To better assess these agreements, the seminar invites participants to take a step back and address questions with broad implications for the economic future of both Switzerland and the European Union. Will the euro play a greater role in the international monetary order? Is innovation still possible in Europe? What does the future hold for the free movement of people?

Come and exchange ideas with high-level speakers from the institutional, academic, and private sectors in both Switzerland and the EU.
