Curated by cellist Ophélie Gaillard with coordination by Pauline Boulanger, Prayers gathers HEM teachers and students alongside pre-college pupils in a reflective chamber-music programme. As an homage to Pablo Casals, the programme juxtaposes lyrical cello lines with contemporary textures by Glass, Reich, Mellits and others, creating shifting atmospheres from intimate stillness to propulsive momentum. Collaboration with CMG, CPMDT and Studio Kodály foregrounds pedagogical exchange and a shared sense of ritual and resonance.
Two short plays by Anton Chekhov staged by Tibor Ockenfels and Flavie Tapparel, presented as compact dramatic machines where romantic comedy masks escalating confrontations between desire, affection and material interest. Performances rely on precise physical timing, terse exchanges and a lean, playful design to reveal the simmering violence behind courtship rituals. The three actors — Estelle Bridet, Matteo Prandi and Raphaël Vachoux — inhabit heightened character types that shift between farce and darker comic truth, creating a sharply observed, kinetic evening.

Franco‑Swiss musicians join forces with the Orchestre des Alpes et du Léman in Side by Side, a programme that blends classical writing, jazz phrasing and open-ended improvisation. The project explores textural contrasts, orchestral colours and solo interplay, shifting from intimate chamber passages to wide, cinematic swells. Picture This, led by singer-songwriter Ryan Hennessy, presents songs from their fourth album Parked Car Conversations. The band blends bright pop-rock with indie and folk-pop hues, pairing catchy guitars and anthemic choruses with Hennessy’s warm, expressive vocal delivery.
