Speechless!

The OSR and soloist Antoine Tamestit will perform Jörg Widmann’s Viola Concerto, a challenging piece that showcases the musician’s diverse skills. The program also features Wagner’s “The Ring Without Words,” an orchestral arrangement by Lorin Maazel that condenses fourteen hours of music into one hour. The event is conducted by Daniel Harding.

The production balances humour and melancholy, using intimate scenes and dynamic rhythm to reveal how holidays can expose deeper fractures within family life.

Power struggles take center stage in this political and human narrative, offering a sharp reflection on legitimacy, chaos, and the quest for identity. The production incorporates a modular set design with models, puppetry, and contemporary projections to craft an epic theater experience that blends comedy and tragedy, rooted in past and present crises.

Les P’tits Fils de Jeanine are a playful, irreverent multi-instrumental ensemble delivering a festive blend of balalaika, accordion, brass colours and theatrical improvisation. Their concert moves between raucous, danceable numbers and quieter, intimate passages, combining humorous staging with virtuoso musicianship. Celebrating their fifteenth anniversary, the group creates a warm, slightly mischievous atmosphere where folk timbres and brass textures collide, inviting the audience into an exuberant, theatrical sonic world.
