Directed as an in situ promenade, this performance follows two protagonists, P. and B., through the city’s hidden seams. Collective BERLIN, led artistically by Yves Degryse, stages a site-specific spectacle inspired by Georges Perec’s La Vie mode d’emploi. Audiences, equipped with audio headsets, watch a building façade that opens to reveal six tableaux and intimate human stories. The piece blends documentary testimony and fiction, assembled from interviews gathered across several cities, creating a panoramic, close-up portrait of everyday lives. Sparse staging and careful sound design heighten an intimate, observational atmosphere.

Balades Théâtralisées invites audiences on an outdoor theatrical promenade that uncovers hidden city histories through staged scenes in natural settings. The troupe blends guided narration with short dramatic tableaux, favouring emotional resonance over strict historical reenactment. Soundscapes and simple lighting sculpt nocturnal and intimate atmospheres, while performers shift between storytelling and embodiment. The route alternates between the company’s traditional itinerary and a new underground-themed walk, creating a layered experience of memory, surprise and communal discovery.

More than simple program announcements, these events are true theatrical “green flashes” — moments of celebration linking the end of one season to the start of the next. For this final edition (note the “s” in “presentation(s)”), director Jean Liermier and a constellation of surprise guests will present a lively retrospective: a collage of excerpts, images, sounds, and behind-the-scenes stories collected over eighteen years (2008–2026). The audience is invited on a playful and spectacular journey into the creative heart of the theatre, to relive its highlights, secrets, and emotions — each evening, of course, concluding with a vibrant round of applause.
