OSR invites Berner Symphonieorchester

Invited by the OSR, Krzysztof Urbański conducts the Berner Symphonieorchester with Swiss pianist Francesco Piemontesi in a programme devoted to Johannes Brahms. The evening contrasts the Piano Concerto No. 1—born in mourning, marked by solemn intensity—with the radiant serenity of Symphony No. 2. The interpretation privileges orchestral warmth, layered textures and clear dynamic shaping, transporting listeners into an intimate, emotionally charged sound world where lyricism and dramatic surges alternate with measured poise.

The Wheel of Fortune

Two unexpected deities arrive by bicycle, guided by a capricious GPS, carrying a very serious object: the Wheel of Fortune. They need the audience—especially children—to spin the wheel and together invent a story about a child to whom nothing seems to go right. Misfortunes pile up, luck sticks to the sneakers and solutions must be imagined. A participatory musical tale where chance and imagination shape a different story each time.

Caustic Comedy Night gathers four stand-up comedians from Switzerland, France and Belgium in a tight, high-energy evening of observational and satirical humour. Dogfight – La Comédie Musicale

Dogfight is a musical set in 1960s America on the eve of young Marines’ departure for Vietnam. The plot follows Eddie Birdlace, whose cruel ‘dogfight’ gamble is upended when he meets Rose, an idealistic and sincere young woman. Over a single night, the production confronts themes of masculinity, violence and empathy, blending gritty social realism with moments of tenderness. Sparse staging and intimate musical numbers highlight a painful coming-of-age and the possibility of moral change.

Cocanha: Two Voices and Stringed Tambourines

Cocanha is a vocal and percussion duo rooted in Occitan traditional music, performed by Lila Fraysse and Caroline Dufau with sound by Sanz Grosclaude.
