Created and performed by Charles, son of farmers and an actor, this documentary theatre piece brings the voices of those who feed us to the stage. Through collected testimonies and intimate staging, the production blends reportage and theatrical immersion to explore rural labour, attachment to the land and ethical questions around agriculture. The performance is deeply human, at times poignant and confronting, inviting reflection on care, sustenance and our relationship to the living.

Returning for its twentieth edition, Les Aubes brings softness and poetry to Geneva mornings. At dawn, intimate musical encounters offer delicate soundscapes that stir the senses, favouring close listening and subtle atmospheres. The programme highlights a variety of acoustic and experimental projects, from solo performances to chamber ensembles, each designed to awaken the city with refined timbres and attentive pacing. A gentle celebration of morning listening and communal presence.

FURTHER AFIELD

Guitare en Scène Festival gathers five evenings of intimate guitar-led concerts, showcasing an international roster across covered stages. The programme ranges from soulful jazz to rock and alternative, mixing headline performers and emerging artists in focused, close-up settings. Production emphasises refined sound, dynamic lighting and a listening-friendly atmosphere that enhances musical detail and stage presence. Directed by Valeria Bertolotto, Faire Hamlet! stages a company wrestling with performance and truth as rehearsals of Shakespeare’s prince unravel private tensions. Pierre Banderet, Dylan Poletti and an intergenerational ensemble confront doubt, jealousy and shifting identities while Angèle Colas provides artistic collaboration. Sound by Fred Jarabo, scenography by Fanny Courvoisier, lights by Alessandra Domingues and costumes by Eléonore Cassaigneau shape an intimate, unstable world where fiction bleeds into life.

Garaventa’s debut album Casual Drama fuels a live set that fuses post‑punk grit, deviant disco and obsessive kraut trance. On stage the quartet channels glam sensibilities and punk dancefloor energy, pushing toward an intense psychedelic trance. The performance mixes taut rhythms, propulsive bass and shouted harmonies. Band members CJ (keys, vocals), Baptiste (percussion, vocals), Tim (drums) and Souf (bass) carve a dense, immersive soundscape that favours repetition and ecstatic momentum.
